Part of a larger project called Codependency Phone. It's a dumbphone and lineageOS project about the intersection of functionality and aesthetic, and a bit of journaling about maladaptive attachment styles and how tech facilitates that.

This is a document outlining my modifications to the parent doc directly from ZFSbootmenu for installing a Debian Bookworm on ZFS root partition found. The modifications I have made are choosing to boot first from a USB drive, and setting up some symlink magic to lay the groundwork for eventually using the USB to also decrypt the root partition. Once I have that working I will update this document.

Here I want to touch on some of the configuration I like to do to my terminal environment. I use oh-my-zsh and oh-my-posh to get the most out of a cli's quality of life.

Ill touch on `pamusb` configuration here real quick, cause this one is cool AF. I love the idea of having a little token/key that you authenticate with. The desired end goal of ALL of these articles uses such a device not just to auth the user but to also decrypt the root partition. However this article just outlines userauth.

Heres a GRUB theme im working on and it's inspiration. It's scaled perfectly to vmware and virtualbox but I want to make it dynamic to other screens somehow. Got the idea watching the VHS rips of Serial Experiments Lain on the internet archive.
